The characteristics of roses by type
Roses are a type of shrub plant that comes from the genus Rosa and is also the name of the flowers produced by this plant. Rose species are generally thorny shrubs or vines that can reach 2-5 meters in height, although this is rare.
The characteristics of roses in general can be seen from the shape of the flower which has a flower crown of five strands with various colors. The stems are prickly, with a smooth bark surface.
This rose can thrive in temperate climates. However, there are also several cultivars (the result of grafting) that are able to grow in areas with a subtropical climate. In general, garden roses are divided into two major groups, namely wild roses and old garden roses, which include:
